Cypress trees

Hey,

I have 3 Italian cypress trees planted in the ground and they are covered with these ( I want to call them seeds ), got no idea the name.
they seem to be dying on their own but I was wondering if there was any value in me removing them ?

    They’re the cones (like pine cones) containing seeds. A sign that your tree is happy and healthy, and part of the attractiveness of the plant. I would definitely leave them until they fall naturally.
