Is this Aubergine plant diseased?

Hi there, I wonder if someone in the know can help me? I found some of the leaves of my Aubergine plant looked like the below images today. They’re papery thin and have a silvery gold shine on them. I think it could be a fungal disease but could someone confirm this and tell me how to cure it please. It would be very much appreciated. Thanks, Joanna

Hi Joanna and welcome to the forum
I've never grown them, so it may be something specific to aubergines, but it looks like sunburn to me.
Have they been somewhere sheltered then gone out in the sun?

Looks like you have a healthy plants with flowers. Like @Pete.8 mentioned above, it could be sunburn or reflected heat from the bricks. Was this leaf touching the bricks nearby?

Hi, thanks for your replies. Yes, it was inside by a window for a while, then recently it was put outside where sunshine can get to it half the day…. I did think about sunburn but I wasn’t sure  because I thought the leaves would turn brown with that. Thought I’d best ask somebody!

There are bricks close by but the leaves weren’t touching them. Reflected heat might be a reason though.

So I’ll move it to the shade and see if it recovers! Thank goodness it isn’t a disease! 😎

It just needs to be gotten used to being in the sun where it will be very happy when it's warm enough.
Leaving it out when there some light cloud will help it toughen up to the outside world.
    I'm sure it'll be fine
