I noticed these whilst walking to shops today. An ID would be great thanks

    Could it be a five spot burnet moth? Seems to have spots, but no red line down the wing?

    Yes to the 5 spot. in the first photo you can see a cocoon and what looks like one just emerging on the plant stem under the two adults.
