Somethings eating my buds

I have a plant I belive is called pinks it has loads of new buds forming but befor they have chance to bloom something is eating the petals inside the bud shell if that makes sense. I've tried googling but not sure what I can do.

    There is apparently a creature called a bud worm that can cause damage inside the buds of pinks (Dianthus).
    Any chance of a photo so that we can confirm that's what your plant is ?  :)
