..the lavender pink blooms remind me of 'Lavender Lassie' but that's an older Kordes.. how well do you know this rose, is it in your own garden? does it repeat well, and was the scent description taken on a dull day? have you discerned the scent on a hot day as well and if so is it still ''light''.. ?.. thanks..
... the foliage on that rose is rounded, and glossy, similar to what you find in Kordes and Tantau roses... and post-war climbing roses.. it doesn't have the look of an 'English Rose' to my eyes, I'd be very surprised if it was.. the foliage on Austins is usually quite distinctive, like a 'brand', although you do see it in other roses too now as they use some Austins for breeding, where permissible..
At first I did think of 'Pink Perpetue' but the blooms look a little too full..
