Me neither @B3🙂 Was looking at my existing gloves today as I did some gardening work. All the finger tips on my dominant right hand have holes in them🥴 Definitely the right time to get some new ones.

Yes indeed. I went looking for the same Briers gloves I've bought repeatedly over the years but couldn't find exactly the same ones. Bought these instead which are virtually the same, just a tad more colourful than my plain grey ones and with more elaborate grip. Only £6.40 though which I thought was perfectly acceptable as an annual expenditure.

I'm on about my third pair of these this year, but they are worn a lot.
I like them for the warmth (they're lined) and a certain amount of padding when using machinery and garden tools.
Not possible to turn inside out though.

They are the ones that I try to buy when I need some after dragging the last scraps of life of tatty ones.

@Woodgreen. Those gloves look sinister. I hope you lock them up at night. Be aware, Halloween is upon us😱😳

    I thought so too! 😱
Wasn't there a b&w film, about a hand......Peter Lorre? Had me and my sisters hiding behind the sofa..
They're not that scary in real life, especially when brand new. I think it must be the shape of my hand that makes it look so sinister. (It wasn't in the glove when I took the photo, but they do sort of mould to shape don't they?)
    Don't have nightmares......🤚👋🖐️

Was it the Adams Family or The Munsters with Hand ( Thing)?  That's what the picture reminds me of.
    I preferred The Munsters.

I think the hand in the old film played the piano!

    Edited to add :
Just googled. It was called 'The Beast with Five Fingers'
    I shan't sleep now......
