Ceanothus gives me the creeps and that black grass that isn't  grass is sinister too
    In London. Keen but lazy.

I’ll agree with the black grass which is just plain creepy and not normal. Ceanothus is reasonably ‘friendly’ I think.

I don't really hate any plant unless it's a free seeding weed. I can live with bergenia some do have great autumn foliage, and yellow is fine in the garden just harder to place, its soft pink I not over stuck on.

I do have a bit of a dislike of hibiscus, the flowers are great but everything else about them erks me from the leaves, colour of the stems, they seem to take longer to leaf up they are just a really ugly shrub.

Saying that I wouldn't be surprised if I have one eventually. If you asked me 10years ago would I be growing euphorbia and grasses and many others in future I'd laugh saying don't be ridiculous

There is a succulent that is very invasive from before the time I bought the apartment.  I don't mind it on the shaded wall border, but I am digging it out from all the sunny areas when it dies back for winter.  One redeeming quality, it has put out some kind of flower which insects seem to like okay.

Maybe we can identify it for you @Jac19 if you post a photo or two?
