Is there such a thing ????

hello, i was given several plants and lots of bouquets of flowers as retirement presents. One of the plants is a tiny rose bush. It wasn't looking very happy so i've just removed it from it's pot as it was pot bound. Can anyone tell me whether it should stay indoors or could i put it outside ?? I don't have a lot of room for plants on my windows and thought it would be nice in a new pot on the steps to the garden ??? thanks

    As far as I'm aware, there are no indoor roses - it'll be much happier in the ground outside.

    I didn't think there was but thought i'd better ask the experts !!! Ok that's great, i'll try and plant is sometime over the weekend in between showers. Me too as it was a present. Thank you very much, i'll certainly give it my best shot  ;)

    I was given a teeny tiny patio rose last summer as a gift - it came from a supermarket. I put it into a decent pot and it's been living outside all winter. I've been feeding it regularly since it started into growth this spring and it's just about to flower. Perfectly happy.

    We have a patio rose in a pot,  I treated it to fresh JI 3 this year, best it's ever been.
