My geums have finished flowering in June

Why are my geums finishing. They had a good flush of flowers end of May and there are no new buds on them mid June.  Can u help please

    Mine did this last year.  I was told it was because they were too crowded and they need space (who knew?!).  Not sure if this is the issue for you but worth mentioning.

    I always give mine a good 'haircut' after the first flowering and they come back even better.

    now that I can try before separating it will give them time to make  the first move.

    Just take the old flowering shoots right down, cut off any old tatty leaves.
