What did we buy??

I’m just wondering if any of you Clever folks know what on earth this plant is!
we purchased it as a small plant in March but have lost the tag and now it’s growing like a mad thing!
any help would be great

    That’s a Hollyhock.  It will probably require a stake later they can grow very tall. 
    Gardening on the wild, windy west side of Dartmoor.
