What is this plant please

Grateful for any suggestions as to what this plant is, it first looked like a weed, but by the time the rain had stopped it had started to develop flower spikes.  Any information on final size , a name and any other helpful hints for its care please.

I'm not sure, but it has the look of some sort of Clary Sage (salvia turkestanica) possibly

  • Thanks for that info Pete.8 could be a possibility as we have some Salvias around the garden but completely different to this one.

    Perhaps it's a variant (let's hope - not one of concern :))

  • Looks like a type of catmint (nepeta) to me.
