Yellow leaves on euphorbia Honey Pot

TheGreenManTheGreenMan Posts: 1,957
Hi.

I recently purchased and planted a euphorbia honey pot.

The top tiers of leaves are all praying to the heavens and are a beautiful acid green.

There are, however, four or five yellow leaves at the bottom of a few of the stems.

I’ve checked for aphids and it’s all clear.

Could it be a watering issue?

The ground is not dry when I push my finger in. Nor is it sopping wet.

Do I water more? Feed it? Water less?

Sometimes I wish they could speak.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

J.

This is normal. They will often just shed their lower leaves, especially after planting.

Don't fuss over it. Water it thoroughly once a week during dry weather until it's established, then it will look after itself.

    What a relief @Loxley

I’ve planted about 40 new plants in this new garden and this, touch wood, was the first “issue” I (thought) I had.

10 months on......the yellow leaves are back and are now also red.

    Still normal do we think?

I think you may find this happening with other plants too. Just the older leaves.
