Chillies not fully ripening

Hello,
I have a strange problem with my Loco plant, it is not fully ripening.
Plant is healthy with about 30-40 fruit. All of them turned orange color over last 3 weeks, but not turning red at all.
I have tasted one today and its certainly not fully ripen yet.

This is my first purple type chilli, so I dont have much experience with these.
Other then that, I have Piquin, Piri-Piri and Bird's eye in the same location, which already provided plentiful harvest this year.

I had similar problem with cayenne in past, where fruit turned yellow and stayed that way for long time until it shriveled after like 2 months, even tho I was keeping it properly watered.

Sun and warmth is what is needed to ripen them - and patience
It will happen - they'll ripen when conditions are right

Yea, but this stage should be only few days, so I'm worried that cayenne story will repeat.
Btw, I love your sig quote :)

My Blue Christmas chillies took a long while (month?) to change from the purple to orange to red, once the weather cooled last autumn.  Perhaps yours just need more warmth?

With the return of some warm weather I'm sure your chillies will ripen soon.
Warmth and sun are key to ripening them.
My plants are only just starting to produce fruits, but I know it won't be long until I have more bags of frozen chillies in the freezer

oh, it has been 30C for a while. I keep them at minimum 25C all the time, even at winter. In addition grow light turns on when there is not enough sun.
This has been working really well for me. I'm getting fresh chillies even during winter. I love growing chillies and have them available all year long ^_^

@Dovefromabove Do you remember how long they stayed orange, just for reference?
Also those Blue Christmas chillies look amazing. I think I will try to get some seeds.

I'm sorry I don't remember ... it was some considerable time tho' ... and then suddenly, I walked into the studio one morning, and they'd started to turn ... and within a few days they'd all done it.

Great chillies, if a little fierce for our innards to eat many of them ... but they have a great flavour too ... I pickled some jars of them for my son to give to his friends ... they were very happy with them ... younger digestive systems  :D

Oki, thanks. I will try waiting longer, hopefully it will be all right.
I tried searching for seeds, unfortunately they are not available here :(

Some of them started shriveling already, it does not look good :(

So, I tried to remove all shriveled fruit in attempt to let plant to focus on other ones. But instead I have about 50 flowers.
But since its not able to mature its fruit, I'm wondering if it even makes sense to keep it.

That seems strange that your fruit is simply shrivelling before it ripens.  Any chance you could post a photo of the whole plant and the fruit in question ?  May help with offering further advice :)
