Applying slug nematodes

I have been trying to apply slug nematodes. I have the coarsest watering can rose that I can find, I stir vigorously and frequently but still, after a few seconds the rose is blocked. Has anyone any suggestions?

    I applied some recently and just didn’t use the rose on my watering can.

    Me too, I don't bother with a rose. Note that the earth does have to be thoroughly wet before hand, watered after, and kept wet for the following two weeks.
