    Yes,we never planted any,re potted our bamboos,last year brand new pots and compost,but ours have got the leaves with black blotches

     Does look like a northern marsh orchid.
    Did you buy it from a garden centre?
    More are now selling garden orchids but many are hybrids so difficult to say exactly which one it is but it is an orchid.
    Lovely.

    It appeared in the pot of a dead mahonia!
