Pea Advice needed

Hi,  I have planted some peas this year for the 1st time.  The packet said plant height 4ft.  My plants are currently about 1ft high and are starting to flower.  I presume that after the flower has gone past this is where the pod grows from.  So do I need to pinch the flowers off so that the plant can grow some more?  Thanks

Noooo!  The plant will continue to grow, producing flowers and then pods along the stems as it grows.  :)

They'll need supports that cater for their full growth @YorkshireLassie. Once they start to produce plenty of pods, they can get very top-heavy.

Apologies if this is already in hand and I'm trying to teach you to suck eggs ;)
