So pleased with this plant this year - I will have to divide it during it's dormant season - it is doing tooooo well!lomis

    What a lovely photo @Guernsey Donkey2.  I'm a big fan of phlomis too. Lovely seedheads in winter.  I pulled out a few rhizomes and planted them in another border and they have taken to it really well.  But yes, the do seem to do rather too well so it's best to keep an eye and pull up the wandering rhizomes before the colonise the whole area.
    Gardening in East Suffolk on dry sandy soil.
