Privet hedge - yellow leaves

Help!

Any advice on what is causing our privet hedge leaves to turn yellow and fall off? :-( Hedge is just over 2 years old and seems to be doing really well except for a few areas where the leaves look like this.

Thanks in advance!

Could be a lack of water in that particular spot, old leaves just dying and falling off or a mineral deficiency.
I would try a wateringcan full of water, preferably rainwater rather than tap, poured on slowly every two-3 days.
You could also try a packet of sequestered iron, dissolved in water as per the instructions.
Hopefully other posters might have some other advice.
