@msqingxiao, I bought some perennial plug plants from https://southeasternhorticultural.co.uk/ and potted those into 9 cm pots. they grew and became 9cm plants over time. I found them all to be healthy and nicely growing. I didnt need more but I wish I had known about it earlier. I had paid a lot more to garden centers and online for 9cm plants.

If you are not in hurry, getting plug plants from them and growing on would be a good option.

This company is good but their site is so, so slow to load. I've no idea why.

Thanks again all! I don't have much experience ordering plants yet. Roughly how many plug plants are equivalent to one 9cm pot please?

Just chiming in to say that I bought plugs from South Eastern horticultural after hearing about them here.
The plants came quickly, in excellent condition and bigger than expected. I would totally recommend them. I bought Salvias, Geums and Japanese anemones all about £1 each.

I put one plug in each 9cm pot. (Although the plugs that I got from SEH mostly contained more than 1 plant)
