Virginia Creeper
in Plants
Our house is a converted barn. We have recently bought some Virgina creepers to grow up the back of the house. The barn is made of wood - are v. creepers a good idea? Could they damage the wood?

Virginia creeper can push it's way between the boards and then push them apart as the stem swells ... I'm afraid I wouldn't grow it up a wooden building.
