Veg Plant ID please

My brother has been growing different veg seeds but cannot remember what this is. Would anyone be able to confirm what it might be please?

Thank you 😊

Just wondering how he’s going to get that mesh off.  They’ve already got flowers on them.

Thank you @Dovefromabove the suggestion of Squash was excellent, he now recalls sowing pumpkin seeds so that helped a lot 👍
@Lyn that's a good question but I have no idea how he will remove the mesh, unless they can grow comfortably on top with some extra support 🤷🏻‍♀️

One in that box would be plenty, they need about 3’ in all directions. I think pumpkins need even more, can’t he plant them out in the garden while he’s still got some.

Sometimes  people don’t know how big the plants are going to grow in a season, they sow a seed and its a tiny plant, then all of a sudden, whoosh, up it comes and outwards as well. my courgettes seemed to ramble on and on.
