    I wish my astrantia was like this!  Lovely, lovely pics @Mr. Vine Eye. Those red lupins! And the roses looking splendid.  What a lovely day you must have had.

    Lovely photos @Mr. Vine Eye  I visited the house many years, with an elderly friend who is sadly no longer with us.  If anyone is thinking of visiting it, I highly recommend you also visit Scampston Walled Garden, which is not too far away.  It's one of the few gardens in the UK which was partly created by Piet Oudolf.
