Straggly Pansies (seedlings)

My pansies I did from seed have been under red/blue lights but they seem straggly compared to the ones you see in traditional shop bought cell packs... Should I be pinching off leafs / stems to encourage any new bushier growth? My pansies have about 8 leaves on then now.

    Why have you got them under lights?  They'd be far better off outside.

    Definitely no lights or heat, they’re a winter/early spring flowering plant.  That’s what dragged them up,  get them outside as soon as possible and have another look in 2 weeks, you may have to cut them back, that will set your flowering time back though.
