Dahlia wilting in full sun

I planted this tuber back in March and its been outside for about 4wks or more.

But during the recent hot weather its been drooping in the full sun. When I moved it into the shade it picked up.

Its a speckled dahlia I bought from wilko. I've kept it well watered and I thought it was a strong, healthy plant. But I'm wondering if I could plant it out in partial shade?

Or just keep moving it around on hot days and hope it will get used to the hot full sun...?

The other dahlias planted roughly the same time are taller, bushier and lighter in colour but I can't remember the name of those. They're loving the sun but this one seems to like less sun.

I think it may have just been a bit of a shock, to go from cool to very hot in a short time.

I've had a few Dahlias that wilt every time it gets hot, which makes no sense if they're meant to be from Mexico.  One I had last year was so bad I dug it up and put it in a pot and kept it fairly shaded, was happy then!  A new one I have in my border now wilts every time it gets hot too but I'm not going to move it.
