Summer flowers on top of bulb lasagna

I'm looking for some summer/autumn flowers(attraction) to plant on top of spring bulb lasagna that is now over.
Preferably blue or violet
I left about 10cm of depth for this i plan to fill that space with fresh compost and plant something shallow rooted
Question is what?
there are some "over the top" blue and violet million bells in garden centers this year... or maybe lowgrowing verbena, or even blue Vinka or buzzy lizie.
Decorative cabbage or walking red onions are some other options
What would you suggest so it roots dont interfere with bulbs and watering it wont drown them
