Really, really heavy rain today where I live. (Buckinghamshire) the garden was just starting to look lovely, now everything is bent in half, the roses have dropped their petals. Gutted, hope it all perks up again.

The garden and water butt needed this though. But yes hope slugs don’t get to the things batted down by rain.

I'm loving this rain, the garden really needed it. Though, lesson learnt - there are some plants that I should have staked before the thunderstorm Wednesday night, like my Ammi majus (duh...  seasoned gardeners pls don't laugh at me!)
