Blue tit box

The blue tits that used my tit box fledged on 31st May - a bittersweet moment as I miss their antics. A bit sad too as one of the little 'uns couldn't fly. It took some water from me and I kept my finger x'ed but left him to it.
I see other blue tits are now having a peek inside then flying off.
Should I remove tho old nest now in the hope of new tenants?

    I think you can empty and go for another round.

    One of ours came straight down, I went in for some photos, tiny little things!

    We've just been watching a baby sparrow on the fence being fed by its mother. Wasn't sure it could fly but it suddenly plucked up courage and took off - downwards towards a bush hopefully.

    I'd leave the nest as it is. It would be a lot of work for them to rebuild it and that might put them off nesting. I've cleared out some nest boxes that have several layers of nests so they tend to just add a layer on top in my experience. Second broods are unusual for blue tits though but not unknown. Keep us updated if they do nest.

    Yep :)  It's one of my favourite jobs of the year.

    Thank you all for your helpful replies  - love the pic @RoddersUK
    I think I'll leave be as @wild edges suggests and see what happens
    I'll be sure to let you know if they seem to be setting up home again, otherwise I'll give it a winter clean up and make sure it's magpie proof as poss. for next year
