Plant identification

Hello, this huge plant with white clusters of flowers and huge stems is growing in my garden. I've lost the label for it, and realise that it's not what I've been thinking it was. Could anyone help me to find out what it is please?

Looks like common valerian (Valeriana officinalis)

It can seed like crazy and become a bit of a thug, if happy. I and the insects like it, though. I do pull out a lot. Mine are nearly at three metres where it has self-seeded into rich/manured ground.

Yes we have a few plants that have seeded from last year. The insects love it and buzz around it a lot.
