Wild edges, how much do they. cost? What else could I use it for,I don't think it would be cost effective for just the one job.

I got my Karcher one for about £70 a few years ago. It's earned its keep cleaning up after the kids though. If I was cleaning ovens weekly I'd definitely consider one though. Less chemicals and easier to get into tricky spots. The Hoover one is supposed to be good for ovens.

If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

I don't clean the seals and dismantle everything weekly, that's oven floor, shelves. The bottom one has self clean sides. I do a lot of cooking/baking from scratch. I bought a mat thing to go on the "floor" from Lakeland, you can only use it up to a certain temperature,I ended up whipping it out smoking! Today,I have made asparagus quiche, dozen sausage rolls,3 cakes, grandsons birthday tomorrow. I find roast spuds are the worst, fats got to be hot, splatters everywhere. Wondered, can you cook them in a lidded pan. Don't tell anyone,I actually tried frozen ones, they are disgusting! Probably looking at £80 plus then for a steam cleaner. That's a lot of money (to me,we only have my pension) almost 2 weeks housekeeping money, tell me what else you use it for
