Orlaya plants dying

Hi
very puzzling thing happening with my Orlaya plants I put in a couple of months ago as plugs. They have been thriving until this week but now they look stripped of leaves and dying back.No sign of caterpillars, and being affected slowly until 8 of 9 are now dead/dying. Other plants around them totally unaffected, any ideas??? On RHS website says they are generally pest/disease free.
