    Eek. I cleared it and bagged it etc. I’ll be ensuring more clear out of overgrown shrubs etc. Hard when there’s a woodland behind the garden.

    Yes, Magpies and other corvids will pick away at the soft flesh and leave the rest.  
    Do you have gulls in the area?  They'll pick up semi-eaten corpses and fly with them, then if other gulls mob them they'll drop their breakfast ...
    Possible. I see gulls, magpies and wood pigeon. I wouldn’t be surprised if there are owls but I haven’t seen them as I’m not usually out late but there’s plenty of huge trees for all sorts of critters.

    I haven’t seen a fox in years. I’m ok with that because fox poop stinks 😆
