Plant ID plus problem solve wilting flowers

Hi. I can't remember what plant this is but looked lovely in the garden centre. Sadly for me within days the flowers and plant looks like it's dying. I have moved from full sun to part sun and tried to lightly feed. I water regularly. Not sure what to do! I live in London UK

The leaves look like chrysanthemum leaves.. It's very early for naturally grown chrysanthemums. It has probably been forced into flower for sale. If you look After It, it might flower again next year but the plant will not be as compact.
    In London. Keen but lazy.
  • Thank you! Sorry a novice gardener so can you elaborate on 'look after it'?

When do they generally bloom? Not summer?

Are there drainage holes in the pot?
Potted plants need regular watering, but they also need drainage.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Hi I also recognise it as a chrysanthemum plant ,they usually bloom naturally around start of September or late August..I’m afraid you have bought one that is an indoor plant .Keep it in the shade ,no point feeding it as it’s flowering .Take the flower heads off as they finish to save energy in the plant. It may come again next year but if not …..well …….I don’t expect it would break the bank to buy another and try again.
