Brambles advice please

Hi everyone, I am a new to this gardening forum. I was just wondering if someone can help me? I've been clearing my garden and pulling all the brambles out by hand they grow and spread everywhere. Just wondering if am  doing it right? Is it ok to put them all in my compost bin? Or not a good idea? I heard they will grow and multiply? My husband bought me 3 compost bin to make my own compost, bless him! Thanks :)

Don't put them in the compost bin!!!  Shredding them first might work ... I woujldn't risk it.
But it would be a really good idea if your lovely husband got you a shredder anyway.  ;)
