Forget me not leaves?

Anyone else have these clumps of new leaves without flowers growing in borders and plant pots? I thought forget me nots were annuals, the ones flowered are about ready to be pulled up now. What do I do with new leaves patches? Should I clear them out too?

They're biennials. I don't usually see the new ones quite this quickly, but like you I have them showing already. You can leave them, remove them if there's too many, move them if they're in the wrong place or move them to a holding position if you're not sure where you want them yet.

They are prolific self-seeders. Pull out any you don't want and put them on the compost heap.

Thank you, will be removing them from plant pots for definite and then will check the borders. I thought they were annuals rather than biennial.
