Use a 5 litre sized watering can with ridges or lines on the side indicating each 1 litre level, fill it up to 4.5 litres with water and then add one full capful of Tomorite (20 ml), using the upper portion of the cap on the bottle. Use as much of the feed as needed to moisten the soil adequately, and follow the instructions about frequency on the bottle.
If the soil is very dry it's more economical to water the soil first. If the soil is moist, then no need to wet the soil first. Use about 10ml Tomorite (that's 2 tea-spoons) in a gallon of water - there's no need to be precise about it.
I just use blood, fish and bone for mine. I apply it around April and again around July
