    Is it a type of veronica? Veronica peduncularis?  Do you remember if it had blue flowers?

    It does look like a Veronica to me too. I have one called Crater Lake Blue which looks very similar.

    Thank you for your help. I just saw this at front of border and I haven't seen it before, so don't know about flowers. Maybe I planted it I can be forgetful, somewhat advanced in years
