    yes, i m not from uk and the weather is more kind here.

    I will get rid of that extra turf and put some mulch on that area. 

    but in your opinion, you think it will recover?  :)

    Our very established one is suffering this year with no rain. The flowers are there and gone so quickly this year and the leaves at the top are spartan. Dare I say...we need rain.

    If you can get it well enough watered, and properly established, it should be ok @bibbi167ojpE-1BM but it's hard for us to advise when you're also in a different country as the climate, long term, can have a big effect on how well any plant does. Don't keep feeding it though - that's counter productive with a plant that's struggling in any way   :)

    It's always a bigger job with a large specimen, especially if it's planted at a less than ideal time. Fingers crossed it thrives and comes away well for you, as they're lovely trees.  :)
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
