Insect eggs on bay tree
We have a bay tree in a large container where it has lived for some years. It has put on spectacular growth this year with a huge number of new leaves and looks really healthy. When I cut it back a little yesterday I noticed what I think are eggs/cocoons on the underside of a lot of the new leaves which remain healthy looking. I am having trouble identifying what the insect may be. Could anyone help please?
