Shrivelled leaves. Several plants and two trees affected. Bug? Disease?

Help!  Is it a bug or a disease?  Shrivelled leaves and some look eaten. This has affected a magnolia, a cercidiphyllum(katsura), clematis armandii and wisteria. Any ideas on how to treat it?  Maybe it won't appear next year (hopefully) but may kill of any of these before then.  Not practical for me to spray as most are too tall.  Any advice will be welcome.

That looks like wind damage.  New leaves are very delicate when they first emerge and can easily get shredded in strong winds - nothing to be done, in my opinion; probably won't happen again next year, with luck...
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
  • No, sadly it's definitely not wind damage. It's not been particularly windy and l'm in a sheltered position. Bits of leaves look as if they've been eaten as well as being curled and shrivelled but l can't see any bugs. Thanks for your input - but the problem remains a mystery.
  • Just been removing more newly affected leaves from wisteria. Think may be a leaf miner - see leaves at top of this image.  Similar damage to all the trees and shrubs.  Bad enough having one pandemic without another on plants! Really hoping someone may know what it is and what treatment is needed.
