What’s wrong with my star jasmine?

Hi all!
I’m hoping you can help, I’m at a bit of a loss!
Our beautiful new star jasmine plants suddenly seem to have started to take a turn for the worst.
After a nice healthy start springing lots of new shoots, the new leaves and stems are starting to droop, older leaves are falling off and newer leaves are starting to turn a reddish colour (‘veins’ of the leaves are still green).
With lots of options online as to what could be causing this - I would really appreciate any opinions / advice you could offer!
My current thinking is that it’s over-watering?

The red pigment is in all the leaves - as they green-up the red will disappear.
Lots of evergreen plants drop their older leaves in the summer months - leaves don't last forever, and as you can see there are plenty of fresh new leaves to take the place of the worn out ones

Give it time, this spring has been weird for plants.
