Help new hydrangea in a bad way

Hi, I was hoping someone can help we bought the hydrangea in April and transferred it into a new pot and over the past few months it is starting to look really unhealthy. We’ve moved it out direct sun in the thoughts it would help and it hasn’t. Any advice would be great, to getting it to look pretty again! It’s a mop head but can’t remember the exact name!

It looks like one that was forced and grown inside for sale in flower. Outdoor hydrangeas are unlikely to have flowered yet.
I would cut off all the manky bits and the flowers. Keep it well watered but not too wet. I would keep it out of the sun , at least until it has recovered. It would be better to put it in the ground eventually.
    In London. Keen but lazy.
