Buddleia davidii - no growth so far this year

We have 2 buddleia davidii which were over 2 metres high last year. We planted them 4 years ago. As of today there are no signs of growth on either of them. We pruned them about a month ago. Last frost here was late April. When we pruned them the wood seemed to be green. Am I impatient, or is there a strong likelihood that they didn't survive the Norwegian winter?

That doesn't look very promising ... I wouldn't hold my breath to be honest ... I think those are ex buddlejas  :'(

I have a sneaking suspicion you may be right, unfortunately!! Winter proved a bit too harsh for a fair few of our plants, bushes and trees. Such is garden life. Thanks for your answer, Dovefromabove 👍
