What’s eating my flowers?

Hello,
what animal do you reckon did this? I thought of slugs but I keep checking the plants and I don’t see any. Maybe they sneakily feast during night...?
I found few woodlice on the violas but as far as I know they normally eat already decomposing plant material so I didn’t consider them as possible culprits XD Am I wrong?
Thank you so much everyone!

Looks like slug damage and yes, they are (mainly) nocturnal feeders.  Go out and inspect them with a torch after dark - I have little doubt you will find slugs or snails.
If you don't find any, then they may be being pecked by birds - it would be sparrows around here.
A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.
