Hi Silver Surfer - Edinburgh here.   No, haven't moved them.  The one which usually has one flowering stem does flower in July - always one stem only.  Time again will tell.  Thanks for the response.

They are really challenging. I grow them from seed but only by chance, the seed was miss-labelled! They took about 3 years to flower but they really thrive and even seed themselves. They are the most common variety, but very lovely. A neighbour admired them so I passed some youngsters over the fence to her. They died. I gave her some seedlings in a pot. They died. I gave her some seeds. They failed. She was just over the fence! It makes no sense.

They seem to be beautiful but very challenging.

The best Dierama I have seen grow in cracks in the paving where they have self seeded themselves. They do this at Dixter and also  Norwell nurseries near Newark.

I waited 2yrs for my Dierama Blackbird to flower only to find it’s not a Blackbird! Still looks great though

    That must be so annoying.
