Acacia tree looks like it’s dying

Hello everyone can anyone give me any advice.  We have an acacia tree which is at least 10 years old which has always been really healthy.  It now looks like it’s dying with large areas of dead wood.  Can I do bc anything to save it.  Thank you for any advice you can offer

The weather this year has not been kind to Acers. Your lovely tree looks like it has suffered, like many others, but though there is some damage it is still alive.
It will survive if you can make sure it has enough water to support all that foliage, so give it several cans or bucketsful about twice weekly while the weather remains hot and dry. If August reverts to a 'normal' English summer with constant downpours it will be much happier. :)
Put off any thought of pruning it until the middle of winter, both to leave a chance of re-growth, if you are lucky, and because Acers can bleed to death if pruned when in active growth.
