Dahlia and chilli plants wilting

I have dahlia seedlings and a variety of chilli seedlings which I sowed in late March and have been thriving until a few days ago. However several of the plants have now started to wilt. The dahlia seedlings have been outside for the past week (so warm temps) and the chillii plants have been in a small plastic greenhouse (with the door open throughout). What could be he cause?

Are they sitting in full sun?

Dahlias...not stood in water are they? They rot very easily.

Our chilli plants in pots have been watered each day but 3 pots did wilt badly.
They are now ok but even though we thought we had given them enough water...we hadn't.
Sorry aboutyour  dahlias as ours are in the ground and still to show life!
  • Thanks. I had left them in standing water so probably rot.
