campanula or penstemon for part shade?

newbie77newbie77 Posts: 1,838
I have got some campanula and some penstemon plants and some space in part shade to plant those. Which would better cope with part shade?

Campanulas are ideal for shade, so I'd go with that, especially if it's a wetter site.
Penstemons generally prefer a bit more sun, although some will be perfectly happy enough with a bit of shade.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
