Apple trees and Pears

I got five fruit trees they were doing well last five years but recently the leave are dropping trees looks unhealthy, it's very upsetting to see them like that. What can I do they are in big pots on my patio please help.

    Have you looked inside the curled leaves to check for aphids?  I have a very bad infestation on my apple tree this year.

    What sort of compost are they in?
    When were they last repotted?


    Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

     We had beautiful wall build, some space for my plants but builder left less then two inch deep more or less what can I grow init ? I love sented  plants andones
