  Some kind of slime mould I would think. Maybe the delightfully titled 'dog vomit' slime mould

  Ha ha looks like a jelly baby, she said it was on wood around raised beds, both were yellow yesterday now one is now brown today.

  Not sure if you are still having a laugh, don't mind if you are, but cannot find polenta bugs to do with gardening, seems they are in corn meal flour.
