Plant ID please - three plants

Can anyone help with identifying the three plants in attached photos.  No discernible scent.  The one on the left in the photo was growing under a myrtle (but it isn't myrtle as no scent).  The one in the middle grew this year from some tubers or rhizomes I potted up.  Could the one on the right be a seedling apple? All fast growers. Any ideas appreciated - otherwise I'll just wait to see what happens.

The one on the left I'm not sure, possibly laurel?  The 2nd look like perennial sunflower and very like my Jerusalem artichokes (which are sunflower family) and the last photo is a hazel seedling.
A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.
